ShiningStars Performances
Giving Little Voices a Big Stage!
Several times per year our ShiningStars will perform in a LIVE evening or weekend production that family and friends are invited to. About 6 weeks prior to our performance, we start assigning roles and rehearsing for our play.
These are not your average rehearsals though, we're always incorporating games and activities to make rehearsals and story time incredibly fun!
When it's show time, our ShiningStars get the chance to show off their newfound confidence on stage in front of their family and friends.
Sometimes children get nervous but In our no shame, no blame environment we always encourage the children to just do their best even if it means just standing on stage in front of the audience. We strive for progress, not perfection!
WHAT: Most of our plays are based off of old time fables such as Three Little Pigs, Three Billy Goats Gruff or Goldilocks and the Three Bears but we also have a range of other stories including Sammy the Sad puppy and Stone Soup. With our own special twist to every performance we make sure to include a important life lesson or moral to be taken away from the show. Weather it be that Sharing is Caring, or that Slow and Steady wins the race.
REGISTRATION: ShiningStars performances are included in your child's monthly tuition for ShiningStars. All we need is your presence on performance night.
WHEN and WHERE: Performances are typically held on weeknights at your child's preschool with times varying between 4-7pm. You will receive an email as well as a invitation sent home with your child to inform you of a upcoming performance.
